Split and its surroundings
Roman emperor Diocletian
chose this area and its surrounding to build his famous and grandiose palace. Today, this palace is one of the best preserved ancient monuments of the Roman construction in the whole world. The rich value of this city was also recognized by UNESCO, which classified it as the part of the world’s list of immaterial cultural heritage. Tourism in Split flourished in the last couple of years, and started on the grounds of the Diocletian’s Palace.

Split also offers a lot of different events to enjoy during the summer. The most significant and famous one is the Ultra Europe Festival, which is bringing together young people from all over the world. Only 1,5 km away from the villa is one of the biggest malls in this part of the Croatia, and it is named The City Center One. It is situated very close to the other large mall named The Mall of Split.
